SDLC stands for Software Development Life Cycle.It is also called as Software development process.
Agile model:

Agile is a the software development model type of Incremental model. Software is developed in incremental, rapid cycles. Each release is thoroughly tested to ensure software quality is maintained. It is used for time critical applications. E

Waterfall Model:

The waterfall model is the classic lifecycle model. It is widely known and used model.

Some Advantages of Waterfall model:

Simple and easy to understand and use.
Easy to manage due to the rigidity of the model. Each phase has specific deliverables and a review process.
Phases are processed and completed one at a time.
Works well for smaller projects where requirements are very well understood. Advantages of Waterfall Model
Incremental Model

Construct a partial implementation of a total system and then slowly add increased functionality. The incremental model prioritizes requirements of the system and then implements them in groups. Each subsequent release of the system adds function to the previous release, until all designed functionality has been implemented.
