Hi everyone, welcome to AndasonMajid Tech. In today’s guide, I will take you through a step-by-step process on how you can design your own Google Form.
Google Forms is one of the most powerful free tools offered by Google. It is widely used for data collection, research surveys, event registration, customer feedback, quizzes, and many other purposes. Whether you are a student conducting a study, a teacher preparing assessments, or a business owner looking for customer insights, Google Forms provides a simple yet effective solution.
Before we start, the most important requirement is a Google Account. If you don’t already have one, don’t worry I have already prepared a detailed guide for you. You can check it out here: How to Create a Google Account.
Once your Google Account is ready, follow these steps to design your Google Form:
i. Access Google Forms
Open your browser and go to Google Forms.
Make sure you are signed in with your Google Account.
ii. Start a New Form
Click the blank form (+) option to start designing from scratch.
Alternatively, you can use the ready-made templates available for surveys, registration, feedback, and quizzes.
iii. Add a Title and Description
At the top of the form, give your form a title (e.g., "Customer Feedback Form").
Add a short description to explain the purpose of your form to respondents.
iv. Add Questions
Click the plus (+) button on the right to add a new question.
Choose the type of question you want: multiple-choice, short answer, checkboxes, dropdown, or even file upload.
You can also make questions required to ensure respondents don’t skip them.
iv. Customize Your Form
Use the palette icon to change colors, background, and themes to match your style.
Add images or videos if necessary to make your form more interactive.
vi. Adjust Settings
Click on the settings gear icon.
From here, you can choose whether to collect email addresses, limit responses to one per person, allow editing after submission, or make quizzes.
vii. Preview Your Form
Click the eye icon to preview how your form will appear to others.
Test it yourself to ensure everything works as expected.
viii. Share Your Form
Once satisfied, click the Send button at the top right.
You can share your form via email, a direct link, or even embed it on your website or blog.
Why Use Google Forms?
i. Free and easy to use: No extra software needed.
ii. Real-time responses: All answers are automatically saved.
iii. Integration with Google Sheets: You can analyze collected data directly in Sheets.
iv. Customizable: Suitable for academic, business, and personal needs.
With these simple steps, you can design a professional Google Form within minutes and start collecting responses right away. If you are new to Google tools, I recommend you first create your Google Account by following this guide, then come back to try out Google Forms.
Thank you very much
